Our quality is not only about products and production processes. It extends to the value we give to our relationships with people and to our environmentally-friendly approach.
As far as production is concerned, we comply with certified production processes, which are monitored by third parties, to achieve superior quality in terms of raw materials selection, manufacturing and final products.
n 1996, we were one of the first companies of our industry to be DNV-certified in compliance with the standard ISO 9002.
Currently, we comply with strict regulations aimed at ensuring both our olive oil and our production processes are of high quality.
As for organic products, we specifically work according to different protocols as provided for by the countries where products will be sold. And this is shown by all the certifications that we were given thanks to the thorough checks on raw materials contamination carried out by our internal analysis laboratory.
Moreover, in an attempt to further show how committed we are to this cause, we voluntarily check over 250 parameters so as to make sure we comply with organic-product-related regulations.
The Social Accountability Certification SA8000 shows our constant respect for and attention to people working in our company as well as suppliers. This is a recognition – according to an international standard – of our respect for human rights and for the work carried out in the whole supply chain, which includes, apart from the internal community, all the players playing a role in it.
Right for our international vocation, we were managed to get HALAL and KOSHER certifications, in order to best meet the needs of people living in countries with different religious beliefs.
As far as the environment is concerned, over 30% of the electricity we use comes from photovoltaic energy.
Our commitment is recognized by the Green Heart Quality certification, received in 2013.
Moreover, we are planning to further extend the surface used to capture solar energy.
